Simon Ngo - “Green Eyes”
Out August 21
Simon Ngo returns with “Green Eyes,” a new single that blends indie singer-songwriter storytelling with upbeat pop energy. Written from the emotional tension of anxiety and imposter syndrome, the song captures the push and pull between creative excitement and self-doubt.
“Green Eyes” also marks Simon’s first collaboration with producer and co-writer Paul Aiden. The track began with a simple idea in the room, but took shape when Simon instinctively started singing the line, “say what you want, what you want to me,” which became the hook and emotional centre of the song.
The result is a personal, melodic single that feels both vulnerable and uplifting. With its catchy chorus and honest perspective, “Green Eyes” offers a snapshot of an artist finding his voice while still asking difficult questions.
